"traditional organics"

When referring to organic fertilizer, many people automatically think of manure...and rightfully so.  Manure is a great fertilizer but it also has some "off-putting" effects.  Other types of organic fertilizers are bi-products like bone meal and blood meal.  Each with the potential to have its draw backs...like attracting predators or the possibility of harmful pathogens.

"Food Grade Organics"

Mund Organic Solutions does not use manure or bi-products of any kind.  In fact, the vast majority of our products are "food grade" and completely safe for you and your family.  This means you, and most importantly, your children, can enjoy your yard immediately after application! Our fertilizers feed the biology in the soil. The soil, and the life therein, takes care of your lawn.

Soil food web

Plants have a symbiotic relationship with the microbes in the soil.  The microbes break down decaying matter and releasing nutrients into the root zone.  The plants produce sugars through photosynthesis and exchange these sugars for nutrients from the microbes.  When chemical fertilizer is used, this process is bypassed. The microbes begin to die back leaving the soil devoid of life. Eventually, your roots become entirely dependent on external inputs.

working with nature

When using organic fertilizer we are directly feeding the microbes which break down the nutrients and slowly release them to your plants.  By encouraging this process the soil is continually building in rich organic matter leaving your root zone healthier than it was previously.  This is what mother nature intended.  By working with nature, disease and pests are virtually non-existent due to the inherent balance. Resulting in sustainability and fewer inputs.
